Mr. Evan Wahl assumed his position on the Board of Directors in July of 2023, representing Division IV for the Rincon del Diablo Municipal Water District. Currently, Mr. Wahl serves as Rincon Water’s representative on the Engineering & Long-Range Planning, Sewer, and Audit Committees.

With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, Mr. Wahl has held various leadership and management roles since 2000. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for 20 years, providing support for Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom as a Naval Aviator and infantry air officer. His final military assignment as a Lieutenant Colonel saw him as the Managing Director of Operations for Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, overseeing all facets of city and airport operations to facilitate uninterrupted military training operations and deployments.

Transitioning to the private sector, Mr. Wahl currently holds the position of Director of Project Management and Site Strategy at Catalent Pharma Solutions, a global clinical trial material company. In this capacity, he provides leadership to the Project Management department, ensuring the effective management of all pharmaceutical development projects in line with client expectations. He also plays an integral role as an active member of the Catalent Global Project Management team, contributing to strategic objectives and enhancing the global project management function across 50 Catalent sites.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Wahl has dedicated himself to serving the community, contributing his expertise to various non-profit and organizational boards, including the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego, the North San Diego Business Chamber, and his current role at the Rincon del Diablo Municipal Water District. Mr. Wahl is also a member of the Escondido Sunrise Rotary Club.

Mr. Wahl’s professional journey encompasses diverse experiences, including roles such as Vice President of Commercial Pharmaceutical Operations for Carlsbad Technology and General Manager/Senior Director of Operations for Harvest Power. He holds an MS in Executive Leadership from the University of San Diego, an MBA from Trident University, and a BS in Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University.

Residing in San Diego County since 2010, Mr. Wahl has called Escondido home since 2014. He is a devoted husband of 25 years to his wife Tammy and a proud father of a son and daughter.
