Mr. Evan Wahl was appointed to the Board of Directors in July of 2023 as the Division IV representative for Rincon del Diablo Municipal Water District. Mr. Wahl currently serves as Rincon Water’s representative on the Engineering & Long Range Planning, Sewer and Audit Committees.
Mr. Wahl has served in multiple leadership and management roles since 2000. He served in the United States Marine Corps for 20 years, supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom as a Naval Aviator and infantry air officer. His last military tour as a Lieutenant Colonel was the Managing Director of Operations for Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, supporting all functions to run a ‘small city’ so our military’s finest could continue uninterrupted training operations and deployments. His most recent private sector role is the Director of Project Management and Site Strategy for Catalent Pharma Solutions (a clinical trial material company). He provides leadership to the Project Management department, ensuring all projects are managed effectively and according to client expectations, as well as an active member of the Catalent Global Project Management team participating in strategic objectives and driving the development of the global project management function across 50 Catalent sites.
Mr. Wahl has served on multiple non-profit and other Boards to include the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego; North San Diego Business Chamber and currently the Rincon del Diablo Municipal Water District. Mr. Wahl has also worked for various companies to include Vice President of Commercial Pharmaceutical Operations for Carlsbad Technology; and General Manager/Senior Director of Operations for Harvest Power. He holds an MS in Executive Leadership from the University of San Diego, MBA from Trident University, and a BS in Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University.
Mr. Wahl has lived in San Diego County since 2010, Escondido since 2014. He is the father of a son and daughter, and has been married to his wife Tammy for 23 years.
